Stick to the last gen versions folks. I really hope these games get fixed up and ported to Steam someday though. They deserve to live.
Yup, my copy on the PS3 was terrible. Going back to the PS2 versions.
I really hope they fix some the issues though, for people who bought the bad copies.
I hope you're lucky and don't end up with one of the broken copies. It's getting bad reviews for a reason.
It's going to be interesting to see if they can patch some of the issues with ANOTHER patch, I'm not playing my copy until they do, it was just unplayable.
Wish it was playable for me. Bad audio sync, no audio sometimes, and stuttering frames. And the CGI cutscene parts look WORSE than the original. They're all foggy and look like low grade video.
Wish I hadn't ordered it, I went back on my new belief which was to never by day one anymore.
The patch didn't even help for me and many others.
My favorite game receives the worst remaster.
It just doesn't end with Konami crapping on this franchise.

This gen is winding down. I think both MS and Sony are going to mention/show concepts of PS4 and XB3 at E3, but still won't be able to get them out until 2013, which is fine because they both still have big games coming out until then. But these are for sure the final games in all these franchises for this gen.
If they throw out $600 systems again that have 'max power' for the time, they will both fall to Nintendo once again, and both will lose billions.
Not gonna happen this time. PS4 and XB3 will be just a little more powerful than Wii U. This also means we won't have to wait so long for the next gen after.
